Job description

SITE Staffing is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor for a client in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire position, 2nd shift. The ideal shift is from 3pm-1:30am, Monday - Thursday, regular voluntary over time is available and NO WEEKENDS.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule daily activities of the maintenance team
• Oversee routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery, equipment and facility systems
• Monitor and manage maintenance logs, work orders and preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to plan maintenance around operational needs
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical skills and safety procedures
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts and supplies; coordinate with vendors when necessary
• Report equipment failures and major issues to upper management promptly
• Support continuous improvement efforts in plant reliability and maintenance process

Requirements

• Proven Experience (5+ years) in industrial maintenance, preferably in a production
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience required
• Familiarity with production machinery, electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in various environments, and respond to after-hours emergencies if required
