Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and executing all aspects of the Maintenance department, working with customers, suppliers, and both local and corporate employees, as well as manufacturing staff. The role involves training and mentoring Maintenance team members and supporting the facility to ensure the highest quality of products produced and packaged at the plant.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday; 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM; occasional weekend hours as needed.

Job Duties

1. Supervise and evaluate Maintenance employees, including non-supervisory staff.
2. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
3. Communicate with OEM and vendors; ensure effective communication between mechanics and other departments.
4. Conduct shift meetings and provide shift reports.
5. Maintain a 5S environment and manage maintenance scheduling and payroll issues.
6. Review production reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems to minimize costs and delays.
7. Handle employee complaints and disputes, and lead root cause analysis for incidents.
8. Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Includes knowledge of manufacturing processes, EAM/ERP systems (SAP preferred), OSHA standards, gas-fired ovens, electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, blueprints, and conflict resolution. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is required.

Physical and Other Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in variable conditions, and work over 40 hours per week. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, with a relevant college degree or equivalent experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $66,813 - $100,219/year, based on experience and location. Includes benefits such as health, dental, 401k, and wellness programs. Eligible for annual incentives.
