Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all production and support equipment operates efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Support production, quality, safety, and service initiatives.
• Evaluate new and replacement equipment.
• Oversee parts inventory and procurement procedures.
• Manage and improve the preventative maintenance program.
• Develop staffing plans and coordinate hiring with HR.
• Promote workplace safety initiatives.
• Conduct performance assessments and recommend training.
• Maintain communication with team members and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Be available for off-shift work, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a maintenance-related field.
• 5-7 years of maintenance management experience in food manufacturing (frozen food experience preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in industrial maintenance practices and OSHA standards.
• Experience with ammonia systems and Process Safety Management.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong computer skills.
