Job summary

Autoneum Holding AG seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to direct the operations and maintenance of steam, mechanical, compressed air, water and refrigeration systems to ensure uninterrupted service in a manufacturing setting.

You will plan production settings, develop preventive maintenance, supervise maintenance staff and contractors, and drive cost-efficient improvements while adhering to TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations and maintenance of steam, mechanical, compressed air, water and refrigeration systems to provide uninterrupted service
• Plans and establishes machinery production settings (steam pressure, temperature, tonnage of press, etc.) so that equipment runs with the proper settings
• Develops, schedules, and controls a preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment
• Directs, supervises, coordinates mechanical maintenance personnel
• Responsible for the activities of all maintenance personnel & contractors to ensure that high standards of workmanship and safety are maintained
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and buildings
• Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve desired results
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities
• Utilizes technical expertise to implement or oversee the implementation of cost reduction ideas suggested by self and others
• Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep for plant facilities
• Directs the work of outside contractors. Ensures high standards of safety are developed, met & maintained
• Ensures compliance with all related TS 16949 & ISO 14001procedures and requirements
• Assist in providing and maintaining a safe workplace
• Manages employees in the Maintenance Department and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit
