Job summary

A food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and enhance machinery performance. This role involves developing preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance, knowledge of mechanical systems, and proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring all maintenance operations are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns to prevent production delays.
• Utilize your knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical systems to maintain and improve machinery performance.
• Train and develop your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Leverage your proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC to automate machinery and improve production efficiency.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
• Report on maintenance performance and progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC.
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
