Directs maintenance crews in the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment used throughout the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse equipment. Oversees maintenance of processes to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flows and production lines running at maximum efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads teams of Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians in predictive & preventive maintenance and machine repair.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising maintenance systems, processes and documentation for efficient manufacturing operations.
• Ensures maintenance is scheduled timely and collaborates with Production for repairs.
• Develops and maintains KPIs to track maintenance performance.
• Provides support for troubleshooting and problem analysis.
• Trains employees on work methods and safety procedures.
• Maintains records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Provides status reports to management.
• Reviews job plans for resources and prioritization.
• Assigns work orders and evaluates emergency work.
• Ensures proper skill levels for resources and controls job execution quality and cost.
• Monitors ongoing jobs and liaises with Production on schedule impacts.
• In the absence of key personnel, supervises or delegates tasks.
• Works flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education/Certifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in training, coaching, or managing processes/projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, mechanical, electrical fields.
• Knowledge of PSM and RMP.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and scheduling software.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good planning and teamwork abilities.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors performance of maintenance staff.
• Provides leadership and guidance in accordance with company policies.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, weather elements, and physical risks.
• Requires physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, reaching, and kneeling.

Salary range: $70,127.00 - $124,487.00. Final offers depend on experience and location.
