Job summary

APG is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Brunswick, GA to lead maintenance for two neighboring apartment communities. This role is hands-on, handling plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, running the preventive maintenance program, and keeping properties in top shape for residents.

You will plan and supervise the maintenance team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure work orders are completed on time, while upholding Fair Housing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Hands-on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance for both communities.
• Lead, schedule, and support the maintenance team, ensuring timely work orders.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Keep building systems, units, and common areas in good condition.
• Communicate clearly with residents, the maintenance team, and the office.
• Ensure fairness under Fair Housing guidelines and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance for two neighboring communities with apartment homes in Brunswick. This is a hands-on role: you’ll handle plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, run the preventive maintenance program, and keep both communities in great shape for residents.

What you'll Do

• Complete service requests across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.

• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance for both communities.
• Lead, schedule, and support the maintenance team, and make sure work orders are completed on time.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Keep building systems, units, and common areas safe and in good working order.
• Communicate clearly with residents, the maintenance team, and the property office.
• Treat all residents consistently and professionally, in line with Fair Housing requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
