Job summary

Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team, ensure safety, and maintain operational excellence. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate external contractors to keep HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators running smoothly.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team and coordinate contractors.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgeting and supply ordering.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies & budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain standards: ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:
