Job summary

Picerne Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an apartment community in Ocoee, Florida. The role involves supervising the maintenance team, handling work orders, and ensuring timely repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and more.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and proven maintenance experience. On-call availability, safety compliance, and focus on curb appeal are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff for apartment community operations.
• Manage and delegate work orders and repairs.
• Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Complete safety inspections weekly and monthly.
• Perform in-house repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and related tasks.
• Handle turnover work in vacant units (paint, clean, repairs).
• Maintain curb appeal and coordinate with landscape crew.
• Respond to emergency service requests, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with proven skills for an apartment community located in Ocoee, Florida.

1. A general knowledge of apartment maintenance is required.
2. Responsible for the upkeep of a property which includes making ready apartments, running work order tickets, on-call maintenance emergencies and conducting other assigned projects.
3. Responsible for the supervision of a maintenance team and the ideal candidate will be able to motivate team members and delegate responsibilities.
4. Preventative maintenance projects to be scheduled and completed in a timely manner
5. Complete all safety inspections on time; Weekly and Monthly required
6. Attempt all repairs in-house
7. Complete turnover work in vacant apartments (paint, clean, maintenance items, etc.)
8. Complete all manner of service requests in a timely manner (normally within 24 hours) including plumbing, heating, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, key & lock, painting, landscaping, roofing, glass/window screen repair & replacement, appliance repair, etc.
9. Keep curb appeal at highest level daily by removing all trash, inspecting sprinkler lines and maintaining weed control. Grounds problems should be brought to the attention of the maintenance supervisor who will contact the landscape crew.
10. Respond to emergency calls in accordance with service requests priority system (including evenings, weekends, and holidays.)

Requirements:

• Candidate must posses a high school diploma/equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• HVAC certification is required.
• Experience required.
