About The Role

We’re seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our production facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment, ensure smooth operations across our grading and warehouse areas, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and performance. You'll be the key point of contact for technical troubleshooting, team coordination, and maintenance planning, reporting directly to the Site Manager.

Your role will include supervising preventative and reactive maintenance activities, coordinating with production teams, managing parts inventory, and promoting a strong safety culture. You’ll also take the lead in team meetings, coach and support technicians, and contribute to strategic planning and efficiency improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team of maintenance technicians
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant and equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot effectively, and coordinate rapid repairs
• Liaise with the production team to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Monitor and manage spare parts and consignment stock levels
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards
• Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports to the Site Manager
• Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly production and maintenance meetings
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive maintenance best practices
• Support the development and training of team members
• Participate in a rotating roster, including weekends, as required
  
  

About You

You're an experienced maintenance professional with leadership skills and a proactive mindset. You take ownership, work collaboratively, and have the ability to both manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. With a strong understanding of industrial maintenance and a commitment to safety and quality, you're ready to step up and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in a supervisory or team lead capacity
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience in food manufacturing or production environments (preferred)
• Confidence in managing maintenance schedules, resources, and compliance requirements
• Solid understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends
