Job summary

Hillspring of Springboro in Springboro, OH is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the facility's plant management and ensure systems meet regulatory standards. This hands-on leadership role directs preventative maintenance and coordinates with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.

The successful candidate will supervise a maintenance team, manage budgets for repairs, and ensure boilers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems function safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, direct and supervise repair programs.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs and supervises the operation of a facility's preventative maintenance and repair program for buildings and grounds.
• Coordinates maintenance and repair activities with other departments.
• Plans, directs and supervises heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical and related systems.
• Supervises maintenance staff, assigns duties and evaluates performance.
• Oversees grounds care and institutional equipment; maintains cost records.
• Coordinates work to avoid interrupting patient care or business functions.
• Inspects equipment and systems for proper operation and safety; ensures compliance with codes.
• Prepares and submits reports as directed by administrator.
• Alternates on-call for emergencies with the maintenance assistant.

Description

Come join our team as the facility Full Time Maintenance Supervisor at our state of the art, skilled nursing facilities in Northern Kentucky. This management and hand-on position oversees the facility plant management and ensures all systems and equipment are operational and meeting regulatory standards in the facility.

Salary - $55,000 -$65,000 depending on experience !!

RESPONSIILITIES

• Organizes, directs and supervises the operation of a skilled nursing facility's preventative maintenance and repair program involving building and grounds.
• Coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments.
• Plans, directs, and supervises TELS maintenance program (heating, cooling, plumbing, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, communications, carpentry, painting and similar work
• Supervises maintenance assistant, assigns duties and evaluations work performance
• Supervises grounds care, maintenance or institutional equipment and buses
• Records of work performed and costs involved
• Coordinates work of maintenance department with other department functions, so as not to interrupt patient care or normal business functions
• inspects all equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety; inspects building and grounds regularly for compliance with national, state, and local safety codes
• Prepares and submits reports, as directed by administrator
• Alternates on-call for emergencies with the maintenance assistant

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent, also technical degree or associate degree preferred but not required
• Preferred at least five years of experience in maintenance or similar work
• Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair on new construction and/or installation, ability to direct others
• Able to work with others
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and allied machinery as well as the various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• knowledge of record keeping and cost estimating
• knowledge of supplies and equipment used by department and the care of equipment
