Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant safety, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate preventive maintenance. The role requires supervising multi-trade crews and ensuring production schedules align with quality standards.

You will train and evaluate staff, drive SPQRC goals, and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues, while maintaining compliance with labor agreements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Trained in skilled trades or equivalent technical training.
• 5–7 years of experience in maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support plant safety and housekeeping standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement short- and long-term solutions.
• Support Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost (SPQRC) goals.
• Supervise maintenance and construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and planned maintenance activities.
• Maintain production schedules and quality requirements.
• Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
• Support company policies and comply with applicable labor agreements.
• Work with internal and external teams to resolve maintenance and operational issues.
• Complete projects within budget, staffing, and timing requirements.

Skills

• Willing to work any assigned shift, including weekend and holiday overtime as required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in machine, assembly, and/or facility maintenance.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices.
• Basic math knowledge, including trigonometry.
• Experience with data gathering and machine studies.
• Experience supervising a multi-trade workforce.
• Knowledge of tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, organization, and planning skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with email communication tools.
• Successful completion of required behavior-based competency assessments.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Trained in skilled trades area or equivalent technical training.
• Ideal: 5-7 years of experience.
