Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. He/She will be responsible for all maintenance mechanic work order tracking, review, and implementation. The Supervisor will also assist the Maintenance Manager with asset reliability, projects, and safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, instruct, and assign work to maintenance staff.
- Foster a culture that does not tolerate equipment failures, utilizing techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Track daily maintenance assignments, goals, and objectives.
- Ensure standard reliability and maintenance work processes are followed; implement and track maintenance KPIs.
- Demonstrate strong technical problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and project management experience, especially in coordinating multiple projects.
- Review equipment downtime and overtime to improve costs.
- Document corrective actions on preventive maintenance performed.
- Analyze operational data and equipment performance to improve asset reliability metrics/KPIs.
- Develop and lead reliability processes to enhance equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance.
- Schedule mechanic work to optimize line availability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving manufacturing process reliability.
- Achieve a plant availability of 90%+ through maintenance strategies.
- Benchmark performance periodically to identify improvement opportunities and enforce Management of Change processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee Maintenance Mechanics.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of industrial, mechanical, and electrical technologies, including electrical knowledge.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in tools and hands-on work.
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships internally and with third-party contractors to enhance reliability.
- Leadership skills to manage small to large teams.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Safety-conscious attitude, balancing safety with efficiency.
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree or technical training is recommended, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with CMMS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Requires sitting, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs (shared weight up to 100 lbs). Occasional exposure to high humidity and temperature variations. Moderate noise level.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year

Schedule:
- 10-hour and 8-hour shifts, day shifts, extended hours, holidays, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed.
Experience Requirements:
- Maintenance: 5 years
- Food Manufacturing: 3 years
