Job summary

Pinellas-Point-Nursing- is seeking a facilities maintenance leader to manage our on-site program across mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment within a nursing and rehabilitation setting.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate contractors, and ensure safety procedures are followed while maintaining a clean, well‑organized facility to support resident care and staff efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of properties and facilities maintenance experience.
• Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare setting a plus.
• Prior experience supervising and managing maintenance staff a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the center's on-site maintenance program, including mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment, and maintenance staff.
• Ensure employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and conduct timely performance appraisals.
• Diagnose technical and mechanical problems and facilitate repairs.
• Maintain and beautify the facility and grounds.
• Oversee safety program and preventative maintenance.
• In absence of a security officer, may protect assets, personnel, residents and visitors.
• Coordinate outside contractors and tradespeople for construction, repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Apply building and safety codes to meet quality standards.
• Address residents' and staff concerns related to facilities and conditions.

• Apply building and safety codes to facility situations and maintenance procedures to meet acceptable standards of quality.
• Makes prompt efforts to resolve all residents and staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under the incumbent's direction

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of properties and facilities maintenance experience required
• Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of skilled nursing facilities a plus.
• Prior experience supervising and managing maintenance staff a plus.
