Job summary

Electrical Automation Services on-site in Ripon, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, drive reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment. You will oversee technicians, coordinate PM programs, and engage with operations to reduce downtime and improve safety and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience with ammonia refrigeration and PSM programs in regulated manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial processing.
• Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Working knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) programs and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting background in industrial equipment and plant systems.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, inventory/spare parts management, and maintenance planning.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
