Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Lathrop, CA, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations and improve equipment reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will lead technicians, coordinate PMs, manage downtime, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, including ammonia refrigeration oversight and PSM programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics and controls.
• Familiarity with PM systems, maintenance planning, and spare parts management.
• Ability to coordinate labor, payroll, and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling and technician assignments; payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures promptly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related equipment.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to improve plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and regulatory compliance; support PSM programs.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel.
