Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in North America seeks a Remelt Maintenance Supervisor in Phoenix to lead installation, maintenance and repair of remelt facilities and equipment. This role directs the maintenance team and schedules work to satisfy production demands, while supporting product development and improvements.

The successful candidate will have 3–5+ years in heavy industrial maintenance, strong technical knowledge across hydraulics and pneumatics, and familiarity with CMMS and Oracle.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of mechanical or electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial or foundry environment.
• High School Diploma required.
• Leadership experience preferred; strong technical understanding across hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with CMMS and Oracle software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and schedule maintenance team activities to align with the manufacturing schedule.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs and root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild or replace equipment and systems as needed.
• Ensure safety measures and training are followed; update SOPs when needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

What you will be doing

Job Summary:

The Remelt Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment. This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, supports product development and improvements

• Assists in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs.
• Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.
• Oversee, direct and schedule maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, repair, rebuild and/or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.
• Assist in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experience team members as needed and appropriate.
• Update SOP's and work instructions as needed.
• Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately (ie: work orders).
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, supplies, spare parts, and other equipment to perform job duties

What will make you successful?

Required:

• 3 to 5+ years of mechanical or electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial or foundry environment, often with prior leadership experience
• H.S. Diploma

Preferred:

• Strong technical understanding across a wide range of areas, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to learn and utilize CMMS, Oracle, and other relevant software for this role.
• Preferred knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes
