Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff activities including repairs, service requests, and groundskeeping.
• Hire, train, and develop staff, ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, correct unsafe practices, and train staff on safety procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Manage departmental budget and ensure projects stay within financial guidelines.
• Prepare project specifications, solicit bids, and inspect vendor work.
• Order and maintain supplies and inventory.
• Ensure timely completion of service requests and maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot and train staff on trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, property management experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong knowledge in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and related trades.
• Certifications such as HVAC and EPA are preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate mobile devices.
• Valid license may be required.
• Availability for on-call, emergency, and off-hours work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
