The Role: Maintenance Supervisor – Guardian of Function and Form

As Maintenance Supervisor, you are the trusted leader of all things operational and mechanical across both properties. You don’t just fix what’s broken—you anticipate needs, elevate standards, and ensure that every system, space, and structure supports the seamless guest experience we promise.

You're a technician, a mentor, and a role model. You guide your team with expertise, clarity, and a proactive mindset—ensuring every Engineering Curator is empowered to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise the daily work of the maintenance engineering team at both hotels
• Manage and coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections across all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc.)
• Train, mentor, and schedule Maintenance Engineers to ensure optimal coverage and performance
• Respond swiftly and professionally to guest and departmental maintenance requests
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, repairs, inspections, and inventory
• Ensure all safety procedures, building codes, and company policies are upheld
• Monitor property systems for energy efficiency and sustainability
• Assist with landscaping, seasonal tasks, and exterior maintenance as needed
• Support hotel leadership in budgeting, planning, and capital improvement projects

What You Bring

• A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with exceptional attention to detail
• Expertise in building systems and general maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience in hotel or facility engineering
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and emergency procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead by example, coach effectively, and maintain a positive team culture
