Job summary

Brookside Properties in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for Ashton on Main. You will lead a maintenance team, ensure timely repairs, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

You will partner with vendors, manage work orders and inventory, and help control the maintenance budget while upholding safety and Fair Housing standards for a vibrant multifamily community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required.
• Strong HVAC experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general apartment maintenance.
• Leadership experience or ability to lead a maintenance team.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the property's maintenance team
• Complete work orders, repairs, and apartment make-readies
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
• Coordinate vendors and outside contractors
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and maintenance records
• Help manage the maintenance budget
• Ensure the property meets safety and maintenance standards
• Provide responsive, professional service to residents
• Follow OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards
