Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing all maintenance activities required to maintain the efficient and safe operation of all equipment. They will lead all assigned maintenance personnel across three shifts of operation, assigning work orders, coordinating repairs, and service work. The role involves driving continuous improvement in performance and service to internal customers in a timely and efficient manner.

This position is based in our Neenah, WI facility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Schedule and manage employees to minimize machine downtime, ensure the timely completion of work orders and emergency work requests, and coordinate to minimize production disruptions.
2. Maintain records, work with Engineering to requisition parts and supplies.
3. Ensure positive employee relations, provide coaching and development, assist with attendance schedules, assign PTO, and handle discipline according to policy.
4. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
5. Develop and safely achieve department performance metrics.
6. Utilize manufacturing techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, 6-S) to achieve performance goals across all shifts.
7. Support employee participation in continuous improvement activities.
8. Ensure all personnel are trained on machinery repair and service requirements.
9. Communicate effectively across departments and shifts to ensure smooth production flow.
10. Maintain a safe working environment, enforce safety procedures, and perform accident investigations when necessary.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Estimated starting annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, paid bi-weekly. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
