Independence Realty Trust Inc. at Waterford Landing is seeking a Service Manager to oversee a skilled maintenance team across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more, delivering high‑quality work and resident satisfaction.

You’ll collaborate with Community and Regional Managers, train staff, prioritize work orders, and ensure budget compliance while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused environment. A company‑paid out-of-state training is required within two weeks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• EPA Type I and II certifications required; CPO preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to attend a company-paid multi-day out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support the service team to ensure top performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
• EPA Type I and II certifications required; CPO preferred
• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Professional appearance with strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Requirement: Must be able to attend a company paid, multi-day, out of state training within 2 weeks of start date.
