As the Maintenance Supervisor, you play an essential role in creating that experience. You are responsible for helping ensure our buildings, grounds, attractions, vehicles, and equipment are safe, clean, properly maintained, and ready for guests and team members each day.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the inspection, maintenance, repair, and general condition of Adventure Park's indoor and outdoor facilities, attractions, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
This position requires a hands-on, organized, and safety-focused individual who can identify maintenance needs, prioritize projects, complete repairs, maintain accurate records, and help ensure the property remains fully operational. The Maintenance Supervisor is also expected to welcome guests and team members in a friendly, professional manner with BIG SMILES!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Facility and Attraction Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, attractions, equipment, and recreational areas to confirm they are safe and fully operational.
- Identify maintenance concerns and complete or coordinate repairs promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Assist with basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, concrete work, and general building repairs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and service park vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform routine calibration and operational checks as required.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and equipment breakdowns.
- Help develop and implement effective property-maintenance procedures and schedules.
Grounds and Landscaping
- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the park's grounds.
- Mow and edge grass and maintain turf areas.
- Plant, fertilize, and water trees, flowers, and grass.
- Inspect, operate, and maintain irrigation systems.
- Keep outdoor areas clean and free of trash, debris, and safety hazards.
- Assist with seasonal groundskeeping and weather-related maintenance.
Safety and Organization
- Maintain safe, clean, organized, and clutter-free work areas.
- Keep guest and employee areas free of tools, cords, equipment, tripping hazards, and other unsafe conditions.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures when operating equipment, handling chemicals, or completing repairs.
- Properly store, label, and secure tools, supplies, chemicals, and fuels.
- Immediately report equipment failures, attraction concerns, property damage, injuries, and other safety issues to management.
- Place equipment or attractions out of service when a condition could create a safety risk, following established procedures.
- Maintain control of tools and work areas when completing repairs during operating hours.
Leadership and Documentation
- Prioritize daily maintenance needs based on safety, operational impact, and urgency.
- Provide direction and support to maintenance employees when assigned.
- Coordinate maintenance work with managers and other departments to minimize disruption to park operations.
- Maintain accurate daily records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, parts, and outstanding concerns.
- Monitor supplies, replacement parts, tools, and equipment and communicate purchasing needs to management.
- Assist with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
- Communicate clearly with management regarding completed work, unresolved issues, and recommended repairs or improvements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Read, write, and understand work orders, safety information, maintenance records, and daily instructions.
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Communicate professionally with managers, employees, vendors, and guests.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide friendly service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years of experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
- A combination of relevant education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position’s responsibilities may be considered.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active, hands-on position. The employee must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
- Frequently reach above, at, and below shoulder height.
- Occasionally climb ladders, stairs, poles, scaffolding, and other inclined surfaces.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when needed.
- Occasionally push and pull equipment or other objects.
- Rotate and flex the upper body while sitting or standing.
- Coordinate eye, hand, and foot movement to safely operate vehicles, machinery, tools, and equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Day, evening, weekend, holiday, and irregular hours may be required based on operational needs.
- Some exposure to fuels, chemicals, dust, grease, and other maintenance-related materials may occur.
- Frequent exposure to high noise levels, moving equipment, and active guest areas.
- Work assignments and priorities may change throughout the shift.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn when required.
