Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Texas seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to repair, maintain and improve plant machinery and systems. Lead the maintenance team and coordinate with production and management to keep the facility running smoothly.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors/gearboxes, compressors, and dust collection. Experience with robots and automated packaging equipment is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills in Electrical Systems (480V, motor controls, VFDs). Hydraulics and pneumatics, conveyors, motors/gearboxes, compressors, and dust collection systems.
• Experience maintaining robots, palletizers, hooders, rotary dryers, and automated bagging machines.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Organize and plan maintenance each day.
• Prepare for scheduled maintenance.
• Manage schedules for special projects and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain good housekeeping in shop and maintenance areas.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Order parts for projects and maintenance supplies.
• Detect machine issues by listening to unusual sounds and diagnosing with supervisors/maintenance staff.
• Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Train and supervise other maintenance team members.

Job Summary

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures. Communicate with production and management on all issues within the plant.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
