Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations in our luxury multifamily community. You’ll lead a team of technicians, perform hands-on tasks, and develop a preventative maintenance plan to extend equipment life.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in multifamily maintenance with at least 2 years in a leadership role, strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus EPA/HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform hands-on maintenance as needed, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry repairs.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to minimize costly repairs and extend equipment life.
• Conduct property inspections to identify issues and develop action plans to address them.
• Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure urgent repairs are addressed promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger projects, including bids and overseeing completion.
• Ensure compliance with local safety codes, regulations, and policies.
• Train and mentor the maintenance team, providing support and skill development.
• Assist with managing the maintenance budget, ordering supplies, and inventory control.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls after hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a comprehensive understanding of community maintenance practices. This role is critical in ensuring that the community is maintained to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general property maintenance.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of maintenance technicians.
• HVAC, EPA certifications.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.
