Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-siteschedule atour **Cresco, IA** facility.**Role Responsibilities:*** Effectively troubleshoots problems, performs root cause analysis, and seeks appropriate solutions to critical issues.* Assists with maintenance work carried out by the maintenance technicians and provides them with necessary and efficient solutions.* Responsible for managing maintenance technicians and staff on multiple working shifts, including hiring qualified personnel, providing performance feedback, and top grading them as required.* Develops short- and long-term range plans for preventative and predictive, facility, and machine maintenance. Providing training to staff as needed.* Preventive and predictive maintenance plans are a critical part of this position.* Schedules maintenance technician work assignments and activities and communicates expectations.* Plans, schedules, and monitors maintenance and repair activities.* Requisition parts and supplies and coordinates with other departments to assure minimum downtime for production.**Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED* 3+ years of manufacturing, maintenance, or mechanical experience**Preferred Qualifications:*** Associates or Bachelor's Degree* Proficient with industry standard software applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP, maintenance software)* Ability or willingness to learn to operate typical industrial equipment (e.g., floor sweepers, powered industrial trucks, forklifts, snow blower/sweeper)* Demonstrated track record of successful supervisory experience* Project management experience, especially procurement of capital equipment* Ability to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts as required (i.e., 10-12 hours* Knowledge of control wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, PLC and HVAC.* Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, utilizing tools such as visual management, 6S, value stream mapping, cellular layout and standard work* Certification as an electrician and/or maintenance technician preferred**Immigration Sponsorship Not Available:*** Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).* Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.* International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability and VeteransEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
