Overview

We are growing at the Sister Schubert’s Horse Cave Campus and are hiring team members committed to operational excellence. The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in maintaining machinery, equipment, and facilities, in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include supervising Maintenance Supervisors and ensuring policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, quality, and production goals respecting Marzetti Values.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Participate in operational excellence initiatives and team meetings.

Safety

• Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Perform daily PPE inspections and maintain certifications such as Lock Out-Tag Out.
• Participate in behavior-based safety observations and problem-solving.

Quality

• Lead food safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Report concerns related to product safety and quality.

Functional Capabilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities, manage scheduling, and oversee repairs to maximize production efficiency.
• Ensure proper inventory control and maintenance reporting.

Supervisory Responsibility

• Supervise 2-15 employees, managing all aspects of personnel and maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in food industry leadership.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage correspondence.
• Leadership, organizational skills, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Industrial Maintenance Degree or Technical Certification preferred.

Work Conditions

Work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands including lifting, standing, and working in loud conditions with safety gear. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
