Job Description Summary

Responsible to the production, plans & control Supervisor for the shop section located under the maintenance department.

Critical Job Functions

1. Assist Operations and Maintenance team in planning and coordinating area workload to optimize use of resources, including personnel, equipment, tools, and facilities.
2. Communicate and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment on site, utilizing Regional Maintenance Manager as a resource.
3. Ensure out of service percentage compliance.
4. Ensure PM/DOT compliance.
5. Provide management direction and oversight, including overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, storage, inventories, and supporting documentation.
6. Coordinate with other sections to accomplish all required tasks or inventories.
7. Monitor employee work performance to ensure compliance.
8. Ensure all employees comply with Safety Policies and Regulations.
9. Safeguard all Company property.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Five (5) years of specialized experience in maintenance operations and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
2. Experience in positions of increasing responsibility, including program planning and supervision.
3. High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
4. Vehicle & Engine Maintenance & Repair: 1 year (Preferred).
5. Diesel Engine Repair: 1 year (Required).
6. Shop Supervisor: 1 year (Required).
7. Maintenance Operations: 1 year (Required).
8. Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
9. Effective communication with employees and management at all levels, including multi-national staff.
10. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
11. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
12. Strong organization and planning skills.
13. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

1. Heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing and sitting, working with or around physical, chemical, or biological agents.
2. Use of PPE required in some situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protection.
3. Work may involve outdoor conditions with exposure to extreme weather.

Compensation

Estimated at $30.00 per hour.
