Job description

Responsible to the production, plans & control Supervisor for the shop section located under the maintenance department.

Critical Job Functions:

• Assists Operations and Maintenance team in planning and coordinating area workload to optimize use of resources, including personnel, equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Communicates and coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment on site, utilizing the Regional Maintenance Manager as a resource.
• Ensures compliance with out-of-service percentage and PM/DOT regulations.
• Provides management direction and oversight, including overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, storage, inventories, and documentation.
• Collaborates with other sections to accomplish tasks and inventories.
• Monitors employee work performance to ensure compliance.
• Ensures all employees adhere to Safety Policies and Regulations.
• Safeguards all Company property.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Five (5) years of specialized experience in maintenance operations and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in program planning and supervisory roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Vehicle & Engine Maintenance & Repair: 1 year (Preferred).
• Diesel Engine Repair: 1 year (Required).
• Shop Supervisor: 1 year (Required).
• Maintenance Operations: 1 year (Required).
• Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
• Effective communication with employees and management at all levels, including multinational staff.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Ability to interpret reports and documents.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Physical demands include heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing and sitting, with potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
• Use of PPE is required in certain situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protection.
• Work may be conducted in a shop environment or outdoors under extreme climatic conditions.

Compensation:

• Estimated at $30.00 per hour.
