Maintenance Supervisor – Upcoming Location | Frisco, TX

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Upcoming Location in Frisco, TX. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property and supervision of the maintenance staff on site. This person is responsible for being hands-on and completing work orders in a timely manner. As a leader of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $35 - $39/ Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Community Manager to coach the maintenance team and monitor performance against community goals.
• Assist in training maintenance staff on maintenance, safety, and customer service procedures.
• Assist Community Manager with annual budgeting and making recommendations on bids.
• Ensure compliance with all state laws and CONAM policies related to the apartment community.
• Perform and oversee routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance services as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations and operational standards are followed in all maintenance activities.
• Drive locally for property management maintenance purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in the multi-family industry.
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory role strongly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools and power equipment such as drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools. Expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities to assess and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective interaction with residents, team members, and vendors.
• Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive resident experiences.
• On-Call Rotation: Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in after-hours emergency response.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
