Job summary

Atlas Roofing WEB Technologies in Franklin, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead safety-driven maintenance and optimize mechanical operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate with departments, and manage contractors while driving efficiency improvements.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and the ability to read engineering diagrams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read metric drawings, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic diagrams.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be flexible to work any shift and weekends as needed.

• Travel up to 10%.

Atlas Roofing WEB Technologies is seeking aMaintenance SupervisorforFranklin, OH.

Maintenance Supervisor Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant work environment to foster a safety-first priority. Complete safety audits. Enforce and comply with all OSHA standards and company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Arc Flash, Elevated Working Surfaces, Hazard Communication (SDS), Hot Work, and Process Safety Management. Investigate all work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies, streamline processes, and leverage resources to reduce costs.
• Coordinate activities with any related departments.
• Conduct root cause analysis on chronic maintenance issues or repairs.
• Execute effective preventative maintenance and work order program. Ensure the plant needs for maintenance services are prioritized and managed.
• Oversee equipment maintenance of all mechanical operations at the facility
• Provides candid feedback on expectations and performance to members of the team on a regular basis and drives appropriate actions for further improvement. Implements and documents corrective action when performance issues occur. Approve employee timecards in payroll system.
• Recommend purchase of necessary supplies, equipment, parts, and materials. Record and maintain inventory of repair parts and materials. Initiate purchase requisitions in ERP system.
• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee contractors for project work.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports and records.
• Investigate and eliminate maintenance variability resulting in downtime and/or below standard measurements to determine remedial action.
• Work closely with the Production Department to continuously improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers, regulatory agencies, parts suppliers, production leads and managers to optimize plant performance.
• Work closely with vendors to meet deadlines and complete capital improvement projects.
• Must be flexible to work any shift and weekends as needed.
• Work in Managing and developing CCMS system.
• Up to 10% of travel.

Maintenance Supervisor Experience

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.

Maintenance Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• General knowledge of advanced mechanical, bearing and pump experience, and pneumatic skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision making and other responsibilities.
• Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects and issues. Must work well under pressure.
• CMMs experience, proactive maintenance planning experience.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members of management.
• Ability to read metric drawings, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic diagrams.

Maintenance Supervisor Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Maintenance Supervisor Additional Information

• Required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms regularly
