About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee skilled hourly employees in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include planning and assigning work, enforcing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. The role involves scheduling projects and preventive/predictive maintenance to support efficient manufacturing operations. The supervisor will oversee 7-8 employees.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and development for employees and resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance performance by reducing downtime and costs.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results.
• Continuously seek improvements in all areas.
• Manage and sustain proper WPO to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Be flexible to accommodate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and report progress to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, press maintenance, overhead hoist systems, industrial controls, and 3-phase 480V circuits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kronos, and SAP.
• 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Critical thinking, enthusiasm, and a positive approach towards employees.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Certifications in electrical, hydraulic, and predictive maintenance methods are beneficial.
