Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Bootz Industries in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues across production lines.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and equipment maintenance records using the facility's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives and meet operational goals.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor maintenance-related expenses, optimizing cost efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors to procure necessary supplies and services.
• Participate in capital projects, including equipment installation and facility upgrades.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
