Job summary

Metalsa in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team, drive equipment uptime improvements, and supervise maintenance staff. You will coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance and manage parts procurement, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of supervisory experience in unionized manufacturing, an associate degree in maintenance or electrical, and hands-on experience with press maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of supervisory/leadership experience in unionized manufacturing.
• Associate degree in maintenance or electrical with 1–3 years maintenance experience, or 3–5 years in unionized manufacturing.
• Press maintenance and preventative maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively work to improve equipment uptimes and efficiencies
• Supervise and assist maintenance personnel
• Responsible for maintenance personnel performance evaluations and interviews
• Oversee the procurement of equipment, repair parts, and supplies
• Develop and conduct training activities

ACADEMICS AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA

Minimum of 2-4 years of supervisory/leadership experience in unionized manufacturing (preferred)

Associate degree in a related field (maintenance, electrical) with 1-3 years of maintenance related field industrial or automotive manufacturing, or a minimum of 3 - 5 years of maintenance in unionized manufacturing.

Industrial/Manufacturing/Automotive Experience preferred

Press Maintenance required

Preventative Maintenance Experience preferred
