Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance, facilities, building operations, or related experience.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • HVAC certification, training, or significant HVAC experience preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Experience maintaining and coordinating repairs for commercial kitchen equipment preferred.
  • Experience supporting entertainment venues, amphitheaters, large-scale events, hotels, casinos, or similar hospitality environments preferred.
  • Experience coordinating and managing outside contractors, vendors, and service providers preferred.
  • Working knowledge of building automation systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and preventative maintenance programs preferred.
  • Experience with electronic door lock systems, hotel room access systems, and guest room maintenance preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record may be required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Facilities team during assigned shifts, including checking in, assigning work, and monitoring performance.
  • Prioritize and coordinate daily maintenance and repair tasks to complete work orders timely.
  • Communicate updates, concerns, and staffing needs to Facilities Manager and Director.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Provide training and coaching to Facilities staff on equipment and safety practices.
  • Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and project work as needed.
  • Oversee maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment across outlets, coordinating with vendors when needed.
  • Coordinate facilities support for events and concerts, ensuring systems and grounds are ready.
  • Collaborate with Events, Production, Hotel, F&B, Security, and Operations to support business needs.

Facilities Supervisor
BASIC FUNCTION

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all property facilities and grounds, including guest rooms and public areas across both hotels, the casino, restaurants and commercial kitchens, ice arena, amphitheater, and other operational areas. Ensure facilities are maintained in a safe, functional, and guest-ready condition through effective staff supervision, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Reports to: Facilities Manager
  • Supervises: Maintenance team members
HOURS OF WORK

Hours of work are on 2nd and 3rd shift with weekends and holidays.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise Facilities team members during assigned shifts, including conducting shift check-ins, assigning work, and monitoring employee performance.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and coordinate daily maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely completion of work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate operational updates, facility concerns, project status, and staffing needs to the Facilities Manager and Director.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and operational expectations are met.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing development to Facilities team members on equipment, procedures, and safety practices.
  • Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and project work as needed to support departmental operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial kitchen equipment throughout all food and beverage outlets, coordinating with vendors and service providers when repairs exceed in-house capabilities.
  • Coordinate facilities support for amphitheater concerts, special events, and outdoor activities, ensuring building systems, utilities, and grounds are properly maintained and event-ready.
  • Partner with internal departments, including Events, Production, Hotel, Food & Beverage, Security, and Operations, to support business needs and guest experiences.
  • Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and vendors performing work related to HVAC systems, commercial kitchen equipment, pools, building systems, event infrastructure, and facility improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Hilton hotel room access systems, electronic door locks, key card technologies, and guest room maintenance requirements.
  • Monitor facility operations to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, company policies, environmental standards, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, vendor services, and departmental documentation.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and service-oriented work environment while supporting the organization's mission, values, and guest service standards.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments and around mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and other safety gear as needed.
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Ability to respond to facility emergencies and perform physical maintenance tasks as required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to mechanical, electrical, and maintenance equipment.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, pool chemicals, and other maintenance-related substances.
  • May be required to work in confined spaces, on ladders, or at elevated heights.
  • May be required to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of normal business hours.
  • Noise levels may vary from moderate to high depending on work location and operational activities.
