Job summary

Park Colony Apartments is seeking a skilled working supervisor to manage general maintenance tasks, coordinate with the team on work orders, unit turns, and groundskeeping for our Des Plaines property.

The role includes painting, drywall repair, light plumbing and electrical work, appliance servicing, and responding to on-call requests. A strong candidate will have 3+ years in maintenance and a valid driver’s license; CPO is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance, service technician, or similar experience strongly preferred.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation required
• CPO License (preferred)
• Strong verbal communication (English)

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly by responding to tenants' various maintenance requests
• Coordinate with team to get vacant units ready for new tenants
• Maintain the cleanliness of the property through routine basic groundskeeping
• Perform duties involving painting, drywall repair, light plumbing, light electrical work, and servicing appliances
• Respond to on-call emergency maintenance requests at least one week out of each month
• Perform routine building inspections to ensure the property remains in compliance with local codes
