  • Five years of experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

The maintenance leader is responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team of craftsmen.

  • Practice and promote the IBiZ Now safety policy
  • Ensure employees follow safe work practices
  • Provide direction and coordinate activities relating to facility repair
  • Proactively perform and oversee corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Confer with management/department heads to plan preventive maintenance programs and schedule maintenance-related activities with production operations
  • Manage department labor and material costs
  • Manage employee development and training in the department, as well as ensure cross-training opportunities are completed
  • Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
  • Willing to be on call 24 hours a day for plant-related issues
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission process systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stable employment history
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Five (5) years of experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance. Leadership experience preferred
