Job summary

V&S Galvanizing LLC is seeking an outstanding Maintenance Supervisor at our Columbus North Galvanizing facility in Columbus, OH. The role oversees the maintenance flow, troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment, and ensures preventative maintenance is performed regularly.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, prior management experience, and a minimum of two years in a maintenance role within heavy industry. On-call work and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous management positions including supervision of staff.
• Minimum of two years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of steel industry or protective industrial coatings is a plus.
• Tolerant to hot and cold environments.
• Ability to reach, bend, push, and pull.
• On-call availability outside of scheduled shifts; some weekend work may be required.
• Experience operating/maintaining overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.

V&S Galvanizing, LLC has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 9 galvanizing plants in the U.S., featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide.

We are currently searching for an outstanding individual to fill our Maintenance Supervisor position at our V&S Columbus North Galvanizing facility in Columbus, OH.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee the flow of maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment throughout plant.
• Inspect and perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
