Job summary

Jobtailor in College Park, MD is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property maintenance, safety, and aesthetic quality across our student housing portfolio. Qualifications

• EPA 608 / HVAC Certification required.
• Proficient with basic building systems incl. HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Experience with Make Ready processes and unit turnover.
• Familiar with building automation and life-safety systems.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Experience using property management platforms, preferably Entrata.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, EEO, LIHTC and market-rate housing programs.
• 3–5 years managing building systems in student/multifamily housing.
• 3 years of supervisory maintenance leadership experience.
• At least 2 years managing building automation and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical systems and equipment in good working order.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in emergency preparedness planning.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor/contractor work; obtain bids and negotiate pricing.
• Accurately complete and maintain work orders and inspection reports.
• Support GM in maintaining occupancy above 99% and collections above 99%.
