Job summary

Techo-Bloc, a leading maker of premium landscaping products, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for its Douglassville, PA facility. You will drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians across all shifts.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, overseeing vendors, training staff, and troubleshooting PLCs/VFDs while ensuring safe, compliant operations. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading teams in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting/setup of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemens, Lenze, and Allen Bradley.
• Industrial electrical experience in PLCs and plant automation.
• Ability to support multiple shifts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS, & ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs across all shifts.
• Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
• Plan and lead maintenance teams and external vendors during plant shutdowns and equipment installations.
• Train multi-craft maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Lead breakdown response and troubleshooting efforts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime.
• Connect to PLCs and VFDs using laptop software to identify faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and support production troubleshooting.
• Support welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Identify and upgrade electrical components (VFDs, I/O cards, PLCs, etc.) to ensure proper inventory of spare parts are readily available.
• Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resistors and various other electrical components.
• Manage and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers performing work onsite.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in WO system.

Pay:$46-$48/hr(based on experience) +year-endbonus
