Job summary

FlatIron Flats, a vibrant multi-family community managed by IRT Living, seeks a Service Manager to lead a resident-focused maintenance team. You will oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related repairs, coordinating with managers to implement maintenance strategies and optimize service quality.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of property maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I and II certifications required; CPO preferred.
• Two+ years of property maintenance or related experience.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally; push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must attend a company-paid, multi-day, out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Community and Regional Managers on maintenance strategies and initiatives.
• Lead, train, and support the service team to ensure top performance.
• Prioritize and delegate work orders for timely, efficient completion.
• Set the standard by assisting with troubleshooting and service requests.
• Ensure budget compliance while delivering exceptional service and resident satisfaction.

• EPA Type I and II certifications required; CPO preferred
• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs. regulariley and up to 80 lbs. occasionally; push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Professional appearance with strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Requirement: Must be able to attend a company paid, multi-day, out of state training within 2 weeks of start date.
