Job summary

Westminster Communities of Bradenton in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the Maintenance Director in supervising and coordinating staff responsible for building maintenance, repairs, and grounds. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour work week, typically Monday–Friday, with on-call coverage for emergencies.

You will supervise staff, assign work orders, monitor tasks, coordinate with contractors, manage supplies, and train team members on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly tasks/work orders for building and equipment maintenance.
• Interact with contractors or vendors regarding repair visits.

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at our Manor Neighborhood. In this role, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Director in supervising, coordinating and overseeing the performance of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, equipment and maintaining grounds. At the discretion of Administration, the Maintenance Supervisor may be required to act as the interim Director of Maintenance in the event of their absence or vacant position.
Schedule: Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, weekends and after hours may be needed for emergencies or other support.

Essential Functions:

• Manage and supervise assigned staff members. Coordinate work, repairs and maintenance schedule of staff. Assign work orders to staff.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly tasks/work orders for building and equipment maintenance.
• Manage, maintain and order maintenance supply inventory.
• Interact with contractors or vendors with regards to repair related visits.
• Coordinate building and equipment repair projects with staff and contractors.
• Train and develop staff on how to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing and A/C systems.

Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
