Job summary

Westminster Communities of Bradenton seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Maintenance Director in supervising and coordinating the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds at our Manor Neighborhood.

This full-time position requires scheduling tasks, monitoring work orders, managing inventory, and coordinating repairs with staff and contractors, including after-hours emergencies.

A 2-year degree or AA, or three years of related experience, plus leadership and safety focus, are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent, or three years related experience.
• Able to supervise staff and coordinate maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and assign work orders.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Manage maintenance inventory and interact with contractors.
• Coordinate repair projects with staff and contractors.
• Train staff on troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and A/C systems.

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at our Manor Neighborhood. In this role, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Director in supervising, coordinating and overseeing the performance of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, equipment and maintaining grounds. At the discretion of Administration, the Maintenance Supervisor may be required to act as the interim Director of Maintenance in the event of their absence or vacant position.
Schedule: Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, weekends and after hours may be needed for emergencies or other support.

Essential Functions:

• Manage and supervise assigned staff members. Coordinate work, repairs and maintenance schedule of staff. Assign work orders to staff.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly tasks/work orders for building and equipment maintenance.
• Manage, maintain and order maintenance supply inventory.
• Interact with contractors or vendors with regards to repair related visits.
• Coordinate building and equipment repair projects with staff and contractors.
• Train and develop staff on how to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing and A/C systems.

Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
