Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Bossier City, LA to lead maintenance at our facilities. You will oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety initiatives, while managing budgets and capital expenditures.

You will supervise staff, schedule tasks, read blueprints, and maintain equipment reliability. Strong PLC/electrical knowledge and MS Office skills are essential, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or the military.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Equipment knowledge of wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor management and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities at our facilities. Responsibilities include improving functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment, managing and scheduling work assignments, performing preventative maintenance, developing safety processes and procedures, managing building, equipment and capital expenditures, preparing maintenance reports, evaluating suppliers, conducting training for all maintenance staff, supervising and mentoring the maintenance team, maintaining staffing levels, and responding to emergency alarms.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Equipment knowledge of wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8 hour shift.
• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Preferred:

• Boiler knowledge.
• HVAC experience.
• Prior experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing.
• Reliability certification such as CPMM or CRMP.
