Job summary

Titan Search Group is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor on the Second Shift in the Southeast Alabama area. The role directs a team of technicians, schedules preventive maintenance, and ensures compliance with OSHA, USDA, and internal standards.

You will lead improvement projects, monitor KPIs, and coordinate cross-functional efforts. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in maintenance with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity and strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in maintenance roles, including supervisory experience
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, boiler and refrigeration systems
• Familiarity with OSHA and USDA rules and factory maintenance practices
• Solid project planning, prioritization, and team coaching skills

Responsibilities

• Direct a crew of up to 20 technicians, covering work orders, breakdown response, coaching, and skill growth
• Schedule and follow up on PM for production machines and auxiliary equipment, plus spare parts inventory
• Ensure all work meets company standards along with OSHA, USDA, and other regulations
• Lead internal improvement projects, manage department budget, and report KPIs like downtime and savings
• Coordinate schedules and solve problems with production and other groups as the go-to maintenance contact
• Use blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan repairs and diagnose equipment faults

• Lead internal improvement projects, control the department budget, and report KPIs like downtime and savings
• Coordinate schedules and solve problems alongside production and other groups as the go-to maintenance contact
• Use blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan repairs and diagnose equipment faults

What you bring

• Technical or junior college coursework (up to 18 months) in electronics, engineering, or a similar discipline
• 3 to 6 years in maintenance, including 2+ years supervising others
• Journey-level knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, boiler, and refrigeration systems
• Working knowledge of OSHA and USDA rules and factory maintenance practices
• Solid project planning, prioritization, and team coaching skills, plus Word and Excel
