The Public Works Department is seeking an experienced, hands-on maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality public services. The ideal candidate has broad knowledge of public works maintenance operations, including streets, sidewalks, parks, facilities, and other public infrastructure, and is skilled at planning and prioritizing work, coordinating staff and resources, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be a dependable and approachable supervisor who leads by example, communicates effectively, and provides clear direction, training, and feedback to staff. They exercise sound judgment, take initiative, maintain high standards for safety and quality, and build positive working relationships with employees, contractors, and the public.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional coursework or training in public works, construction management, or a related field is desirable.
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in public works maintenance, including at least two (2) years in a lead or supervisory role.
