Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Schedule

Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Always on call

Pay Range

Starting at $50,000, based on experience

Synopsis

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team! As a Maintenance Manager, you will support the maintenance department's daily operations, work with the Association Manager and the Board of Directors, delegate activities, create performance reviews, train new employees in safety procedures, and conduct regular inspections of all equipment. The ideal candidate has team management experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include daily and monthly operations such as trash collection, leaf collection, mailbox lock changes, lawn care, pressure washing, and general maintenance tasks for plumbing, electrical, and building systems.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Previous management experience, ideally in a condo, apartment, or housing setting, to determine responsibility
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to perform maintenance operations

Physical Requirements

• Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for extended periods
• Work outdoors in high heat conditions

Duties and Responsibilities

• Delegate daily tasks to management staff to meet needs and prevent issues
• Train new staff and coach current employees to ensure standards are met
• Inspect equipment regularly
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities
• Foster a safe, positive work environment

Education and Experience

Previous maintenance and team management experience required. Experience operating tractors, lawn equipment, including zero-turn mowers, and other large machinery is preferred.
