We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Superintendent (Night Shift) to join our Rockingham, NC team. The role involves managing the maintenance staff for a specific plant area or shift. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing maintenance work plans; assign methods and procedures.
• Recommend maintenance and operating procedures for new facilities during construction.
• Develop layout designs for installing new equipment or modifying existing setups.
• Estimate needed equipment, materials, supplies, and labor; supervise repairs of building, mechanical, and structural issues.
• Review work orders; help establish work policies, maintenance, and repair standards.
• Maintain and update a preventive maintenance program using the CMMS to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Identify chronic issues and recommend repairs or modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs, using machine data from CMMS.
• Ensure Maintenance Department activities comply with USDA regulations and quality standards, monitoring procedures and staff adherence.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience in layout, drafting, project management, ergonomic design, Industrial Engineering, CAD, and USDA compliance.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

May involve moving light equipment, accessing files, supplies, and equipment. In plant environments, exposure to wet/moist floors, temperatures from 28°F to 100°F, humidity, noise levels of 50-110 dB, and chemicals used in poultry and food processing. Protective gear is required as directed.
