Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensures equipment reliability, supports production operations, and supervises maintenance team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team members performing repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safety, quality, and uptime while minimizing downtime.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to support reliability and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in resolving problems and improving capabilities.
• Support facility improvement projects, enforce policies, and coordinate procurement of tools and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Superintendent

Pilgrim’s is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and supervising maintenance team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The maintenance team supports production and facilities by ensuring equipment uptime, safe operations, and efficient maintenance execution.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance team members performing repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while minimizing downtime.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in resolving problems and improving technical capability.
• Support facility improvement projects, enforce company policies, and coordinate procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required;
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of directly related maintenance supervision experience; experience in poultry processing or food manufacturing environment preferred;
• Skills: Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems, and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
