Job summary

Intrepid Potash Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent at our Wendover, UT operations.

You will lead site maintenance activities and teams, directing mechanical maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, budgeting, and continuous improvement to align with operational goals. You will partner with operations, planning, engineering, production, and field teams to ensure safe, prioritized work that minimizes downtime and supports reliability.

• 10+ years of preventative/predictive maintenance experience.
• Experience building and developing maintenance or mobile equipment teams.
• Strong safety focus and our commitment to “Zero Harm”.
• Strong organization, communication, and cross-functional skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial conditions.

Description

As the Maintenance Superintendent you will lead site maintenance activities and teams across Intrepid Wendover, UT operations. This role provides direction for mechanical maintenance, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, safety performance, budgeting, resource planning, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with operations, planning, engineering, production, field, pond, and loadout teams to ensure work is planned, prioritized, completed safely, and aligned with operational goals.

What You Will Need to Be Successful in the Role

• Deep experience in preventative/predictive maintenance and managing maintenance programs. This is typically gained by 10+ years of experience.
• Experience building and developing maintenance or mobile equipment teams. We need a LEADER and TEAM DEVELOPER.
• Strong safety focus and our commitment to “Zero Harm”.
• Strong organization, communication, and cross-functional skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in industrial conditions.
